A FUNNY THING HAPPENED ON THE WAY TO THE HOUSE OF COMMONS YESTERDAY:

IT WAS CLOSED BECAUSE THE LIBERAL GOVERNMENT DIDN'T HAVE ANYTHING PLANNED!

Ottawa - Garry Breitkreuz, MP for Yorkton-Melville, arrived in Ottawa yesterday afternoon, rushed to the House of Commons only to find that the House of Commons had adjourned three hours early. "Why?", you ask. Because the Liberal government didn't have any business to discuss!

"Last week, they invoked 'time allocation' on all stages of Bill C-33 in order to ram it through the House of Commons before the Canadian people really found out what it actually means for our society. As a result, many Reformers and Liberals opposed to the bill were denied their democratic right to speak and represent the wishes of their constituents," said Breitkreuz.

"If the people of Canada only knew what is going on here in Ottawa, they would know that democracy is being served some great injustices. Deplorable, disgusting and dishonest are words that come to mind to describe the Liberal misuse of the House of Commons last week when compared with the no-work-today agenda they had yesterday."

"The ship of government either has a broker rudder, or the captain doesn't have his hand on the wheel, or the navigation charts are missing. Take your pick."
