NOVEMBER 4, 2005 – GARRY BREITKREUZ’S ATI REQUEST TO CANADA FIREARMS CENTRE

For each province and For the period from January 1, 1996 to the present, and for anything to do with the Canada Firearms Centre, Canadian Firearms Program, Canadian Firearms Registry, Canadian Firearms Information System, Canadian Firearms Registry Online and the Federal Chief Firearms Office, please provide copies of documents and reports showing the following information:
(1) The total number of computers purchased and leased;
(2) The total cost of these computers;
(3) The number of employees with more than one computer on their desk; and
(4) The number of employees with more than two computers on their desk.

DECEMBER 5, 2005 – CANADA FIREARMS CENTRE RESPONSE

In response to parts 3 and 4 of your request, I wish to inform you that there were 24 CAFC employees/partners/contractors that have 2 CAFC provided and supported workstations on their desks and there is 1 employee that has 3 CAFC provided and supported workstations on their desk. With regard to parts 1 and 2 of your request, charges for search activities have been assessed at $700.00 as authorized under section 11 of the Access to Information Act.
