Shot down, but not dead

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Canada's ill-conceived and ill-fated gun registry is just like the villain out of Terminator -- no matter how many hits it takes, it just refuses to die.

With yet another province, Nova Scotia, announcing this week it will not help enforce the regulation, the last thing the feds needed to deal with was a report of a computer crash in December that may have wiped out records of gun owners who had registered online.

Undeterred, Solicitor General Wayne Easter said this week the computer crash was not that bad and there will be no more amnesties. Too bad. It appears the computer system was trying to tell the Liberals something, but obviously no one is listening.
